Join us for a meaningful cross-cultural experience as Ohud introduces Al‑Qatt Al‑Asiri—a traditional, female-led decorative art from Saudi Arabia’s Asir region. Recognized by UNESCO in 2017 as a vital Intangible Cultural Heritage, this style was historically painted by women in guest rooms (majlis) or entrances to homes, using geometric motifs to celebrate community, identity, and hospitality.

In this two-hour workshop, Ohud will guide participants through:

• The history and significance of Al‑Qatt Al‑Asiri
• Step-by-step instruction—triangle, square, diamond pattern design
• Painting your own medium-sized piece on Canson paper (all supplies included)

This is Ohud’s final teaching opportunity in the U.S. before she returns home on June 30th, making it a rare chance to learn directly from a practitioner of this culturally rich art form.
